The Rabbis Go South: Meet Co-Creator & Host, Gerald Peary

Thursday, December 12th
1901 N. Flagler Drive, West Palm Beach
Lunch included, $18 per person

Join us for a discussion of The Rabbis Go South, a 7-part audio documentary about 16 Reform rabbis who answered Martin Luther King Jr.’s call to desegregate St. Augustine, Florida in 1964, becoming the largest group of rabbis arrested in U.S. history. We'll gather at 11:30 am for a lunch-and-connect, followed by a Zoom conversation with creator and co-host Gerald Peary at noon.

Gerald Peary is a retired Suffolk University professor, film critic, and author of 10 books on American cinema. His documentary work compromises three feature documentaries, including The Rabbi Goes West (co-directed with Amy Geller).
